About Us
Opening up the big oak front door you step into luxurious living. The open plan kitchen has a vast island for sociable eating, drinking and chopping! The sumptuous corner sofa is made for relaxing - with views out over the extensive fields or watching the latest movie. There is a beautiful walnut dining table for indoor celebrations and gatherings as well as a beautiful terrace overlooking the expansive gardens and fields for dining alfresco.
All the bedrooms are ensuite with Superking beds (downstairs can be made up into a twin on request), with bespoke beautifully designed from Bagno Designs. The rooms are beautifully furnished with unique and impressive headboards with designer fabrics from Kit Kemp, handmade shades, luxury linens & towels. And if you fancy a day time siesta, there are day beds where you can lie and enjoy the sunshine and the peaceful sounds of the nature.
On opening the enormous old stable door, the old stables have been transformed in to an open plan, fully equipped modern kitchen, with long breakfast bar for social dining. A peaceful room with a large comfortable sofa and the latest Smart TV to relax in.
Upstairs, is the impressive master suite which has never failed to elicit gasps of surprise and delight! Expansive in every way, with a show-stopping head board, vaulted ceiling with exposed oak beams, mood lighting and designer fabrics from Kit Kemp. But it is the impressive bathroom that will make you truly smile and realise you have made the best decision to for your unique homestay! With a central marble shower, large oval bath that sits in the centre of the room with a view over the extensive gardens and fields, it is quite simply stunning.
If you find yourself in the serenely furnished downstairs bedroom, you can open up the French doors on to a private patio and enjoy the all day sunshine, with a cup of tea or glass of something chilled.
Fire up the barbecue and watch the sun set or take a stroll around the field.
We fell in love with this Grade 2 listed property in January 2017 but actually didn’t start renovating the old almost derelict coach house until the autumn of 2019.
James is the visionary behind the project. He has incredible spacial awareness and spent hours pouring over plans with architects ensuring every room was flooded with light and felt spacious. He spent months sourcing the right tiles, bricks and stairs, baths and kitchens.
Ali is the creative once everything is in place. An eye for detail and colour. Blending contemporary, modern luxury living with classic style.
Our sons were the voices of honesty throughout the project - living at home in lockdown it was a regular evening practice to comment on progress as we sat on the field bench….
We are so proud of the building, the house, the luxury home we have created.
And we love welcoming guests to enjoy it too…
