Bon voyage!

DEPARTURE CHECKLIST

We hope you have had a wonderful stay with us and look forward to welcoming you, your family & friends back in the future! 

Unless agreed in advance, please vacate the property by 10am on the morning of your departure date. We would kindly ask that you ensure that the property is left as you found it. As you are preparing to leave the property, please ensure that you do the following:

Rubbish

  • Kitchen bins are to be emptied and bin bags placed into the external wheelie bins (by the table tennis table behind the garage).

  • Please wash out the kitchen bins if required.

  • Please put all bottles & plastics in the black recycling boxes & all paper / cardboard in to the blue recycling bags found by the black wheelie bins.

 

Rearranging & returning

  • If kitchen items have been moved from one kitchen to another, please return them to the kitchen you found them in. 

  • Plates, cups, glasses etc to be removed from bedrooms and returned to the kitchen. 

  • All crockery, pans, pots, glasses and other kitchen items you have used must be cleaned. The dishwasher should be loaded and switched on. 

  • If any furniture has been moved it should be returned to its original position.

  • Please leave all coat hangers, hairdryers, tea towels or any items belonging to the property; failure to do so will incur a deduction from your security deposit.

Linens & Towels

  • Used towels & robes to be left on the floor of the bathrooms.

  • There is no need to strip the beds.

Security on Departure

  • Please turn off all the lights, inside & outside.

  • Secure the property – all windows to be closed and all doors (including patio doors) must be closed and locked.

  • Keys to be left in the key safe and the key safe must be left locked (the codes for the key safe will be emailed to you).

Damage

  • If there is any damage during your stay or something isn’t working please do contact your booking agent or us as soon as it happens so we can rectify any damage or replace items for your benefit and those of our future guests.

  • We reserve the right to make a deduction from your security deposit for any damage and/or additional cleaning required over the usual number of hours committed to departure cleaning.
